Roy - Community Service

I am sorry for the late entry, having trouble getting on the web sight. The community service I chose to do delt with my church and the prepairing of approx. 70 full Thanksgiving dinners. Each dinner contained a 12-14 lb. turkey and all the things that made a complete dinner. Once the dinners completed I was off to another part of the church for a building of Christmas shoeboxes to be sent overseas.  At around 8:00 several groups were on the way across the city to make deliveries of the meals. The facial expressions and tears, made for a great evening. One family had a small daughter (5-6 years old) "Momma we have food tomorrow, and I replies yes you do"  please enjoy I came away from the experience, as others did, I am very thankful for what I have as we all should be  I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend
